For all you skeptics out there...

It is possible to find true love on the internet! My wife and I are celebrating our first anniversary today. We first met online two years ago in July. We were engaged by October and then married July 21st, last year. Since then, I finished my master's degree and we moved to Texas, from St. Louis, MO. It's been a year full of changes. We are loving life in Texas. This past weekend, we journeyed to San Antonio to celebrate.

My advice, keep on looking and don't give up!

Just flew by our Third year anniversary. We are still both loving life. Rhonda has decided to go back to school for a bachelor's in Hospitality and Tourism Managment. After that, we'll probably be moving to a larger market like Dallas or Houston.

Hi Tori,

I first sent Rhonda an email on the 24th of July. We emailed back and forth, and since we lived in the same city, we went on our first date the next weekend. Over the next three weeks, we went out together about ten times. I had her over the my place and cooked dinner for her on August 17th. I decided that I wanted to be able to introduce her as my girlfriend, and she was okay with that. On October 7th, we drove down Graceland for the weekend. While eating ribs at BB King's Jazz and Blues Club, I decided that she was the one. When we got home, I asked that burning question, "What's your ring size." We went shopping for rings the next Saturday night, and I proposed at the jewelry store. Over the next couple of weeks, we set the date for July 21st, 2007. So, we met, dated, and married within less than a year. No one that I've ever spoken to, has suggested that was too quick, my wife responded in the negative as well.

CONGRADULATIONS!!! I am a fellow "Texan" Ennis TX. I have a family in Baytown, Houston, Killeen, Terrell and Dallas!! This gives me hope that my true love is out there somewhere. I wanted to know if you or anyone else thought the engagement was quick? Did anyone close to you have any doubts about your relationship?
Thanks for sharing your story...
Tori
